Yes, we'd love to get feedback from anybody out there with a Video Ipod, Sony PSP or other MPEG-4 device.

In theory, MPEG-4 files that we have online should work with both the PSP and new video iPod, but the files will have to be renamed to be recognized.

Hi. The vast majority of MP4 video encodings currently in the Archive (including Prelinger) are not PSP compatible, at least by my testing. There are naming conventions that must be met (that's easy enough), but also MP4 dimensional and profile requirements.

An example of a film already in the Archive that *is* fully PSP compatible and that (while the audio is rather low) plays fine on the PSP (meeting both naming and format requirements) is:

It would be wonderful if PSP-compatible versions of Archive films and other programs (including Prelinger of course!) were routinely available directly from the Archive.
